Melbourne Earthquake
Wed, 18 Mar, 2009

Victoria, and parts of Melbourne's eastern suburbs have been hit by earth tremours for the second time in two weeks.
Geo Science Australia spokesman, Spiro Spiliopolous said the tremor was almost as big as one which hit 11 days ago.
"We've given this earthquake a magnitude of 4.6; that's a preliminary magnitude at this stage, it might change over time," he said.
"This earthquake's located pretty close to the last earthquake that occurred at Korumburra just over a week ago. It's unusual to get two earthquakes of this size within a couple of weeks of each other."
The Victorian State Emergency Service (SES) have been inundated with calls from the public, but there have been no reports of property damage or injury.
