Heath Wins Globe

When Australian actor Heath Ledger died of of an accidental prescription drug oversose on January 22, 2008 fans around the world mourned.
Yesterday however, they had reason to celebrate as Heath was awarded a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his role as The Joker in The Dark Knight.
The movie's director Christopher Nolan accepted the award for Ledger. "On behalf of all of us who worked with Heath on Dark Knight, I accept this with mix of sadness and incredible pride. He will be eternally missed but he will never be forgotten."
