Lifestyle

Most people move to Australia to improve their lifestyle and provide a better standard of living for their family.

Australia is ranked 3rd in the world via the Human Development Index.

The HDI is  published by the Human Development Report. It looks beyond GDP to a broader definition of well-being. It considers: living a long and healthy life (measured by life expectancy), being educated (measured by adult literacy and enrolment at the primary, secondary and tertiary level) and having a decent standard of living (measured by purchasing power parity, PPP, income).

Some great things about Australia:

  • Mostly a warm, sunny climate (3000 hours of sunshine expected per year)
  • Politically stable
  • Geographically beautiful with stunning beaches, vast rainforests, awe inspiring outback landscapes and spactacular coral reefs
  • Low population density
  • Friendly locals
  • Generally a high standard of living
  • Opportunity to succeed in business & sport
  • High standard of education
